Albion, PA — Bill Gano, founder and owner of Gano’s Heavy Hauling located in northern New Jersey, successfully moved this transformer for a major northeastern utility from the rail yard to a generating facility located about 70 miles away. The transformer weighed in at a whopping 97 plus tons and measured over 15' high by 10' wide by 27' long! Since this was a scheduled change-out of the transformer, Gano had ample time to plan his routing and prepare for this difficult move, choosing the interchangeable 100 ton capacity dropsides deck. He properly blocked the load to prevent any significant deformation of the deck. In addition, he was able to shim Rogers’ unique detachable rear frame joint to further balance out the trailer’s axle loadings.

Ram Foot, Rogers’ original, powerful, low-pressure ground-engaging gooseneck design, operates on low hydraulic pressures utilizing standard truck-tractor PTO to easily and safely raise or lower the deck under full load. Rogers’ exclusive hook connection offers the quickest and safest gooseneck-to-deck connection available. The ground-hugging mainbeams give maximum loading stability.

With their almost 100 years of trailer design experience, Rogers can build the trailer for your specific hauling needs - be it a heavy hauler or a 20 ton capacity tag-along.
