Drop Side Deck:
The Drop Side Deck is a deck style, sometimes called a "raised center deck," that has more overhead clearance than a standard platform deck. Shallower cross beams covered with 1/4" tread plate are lower on either side of the main beams. A typical Drop Side Deck has 6" to 8" lower deck height. Wood can be used in place of deck plate, but this will increase the low deck height. |
