Trap Doors:
Trap Doors are pieces of steel plate which rest perpendicular to the deck, between the back of the gooseneck and the main beams. T rap Doors keep the gooseneck from rotating away from the tractor while connected. During detaching, Trap Doors are swung up out of the way to allow the gooseneck to tilt and free itself from the main beam hooks.
